To All Overseas Competitors Registered for the Event

First of all, we sincerely apologize for the significant delay in announcing the charter board arrangements.

The World Masters Games 2027 Kansai is a major international sporting event featuring 35 sports and 59 disciplines, with participants expected from more than 150 countries and regions. The Games aim to welcome approximately 50,000 participants, including 20,000 from overseas.

Due to the rapid fluctuations in exchange rates and the resulting increase in transportation costs, as well as the time required to coordinate with the Organizing Committee, which oversees a wide range of sports and disciplines, it took longer than expected to finalize the charter board fees.

We deeply apologize for any concern and anxiety this delay may have caused you.

The Japanese Windsurfer LT distributor, Windsurfing Japan Inc., will provide charter boards.

The 35 charter boards are available for International Non-Japanese residents only.

These will be allocated on a "first come first served" basis.

The deadline for Charter application is October 31 st, 2026.

The charter boards are brand new and provided complete, but sail numbers are not applied.

Please bring your own sail numbers. Sail numbers may be available for purchase on-site, but country codes will not be available.

The payment process for the charter fee will be sent by the Organizing Committee via email.

Please complete your payment through the designated website specified in the email.

Please Note:

We will not request a damage deposit but Damages will be charged.

Make sure to avoid to scratch the pad.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

If you wish to cancel your charter board reservation, please notify us in writing via email. Refunds will be processed based on the date of receipt of your cancellation request as follows:

• On or before October 31st, 2026: 90% refund (a 10% cancellation fee will apply minus credit card processing fees / administration fees).

• November 1st, 2026 - December 31st, 2026: 50% refund (50% cancellation fee will apply minus credit card processing fees / administration fees).

• January 1st, 2027 - February 28th, 2027: Non-refundable (0% refund).

• On or after March 1st, 2027: Cancellations will not be accepted for any reason.

Important Notes:

Event Cancellation or Postponement: In the event that WMG2027 Kansai is cancelled, rescheduled, or modified due to force majeure (including severe weather, natural disasters, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond the organizer's control), charter fees will be refunded after deducting actual administrative and preparation costs already incurred.
